Ms. Kaba is a Limited Licensed Professional Counselor. Entela graduated with a bachelor of arts from the University of Arts in Tirana. After moving to the United States Entela graduated with a Master of Arts in counseling and a post master specialization in mental health counseling from Oakland University.
Entela has experience with children, adolescents, and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, addictions, brain injuries, trauma, divorce, and relationship problems. Entela believes that the healing process begins when we have a safe place to tell our story; where we are treated with dignity and respect; without bias and interruption. Entela practices person-centered therapy, EMDR, and other counseling modalities.
Entela enjoys volunteering with organizations such as Macomb County Crisis Center, Beaumont Hospital, American Heart Association, and Kohl’s Care for Children. Entela also organizes an annual domestic violence seminar to spread awareness in the community. Entela is a teacher and mentor at the Balkan American Center, where she teaches children to speak Albanian and organizes different events in the community.
In her free personal time, Entela loves to read books and play the piano. She has a background in music and loves singing and listening to a variety of genres. She enjoys walking her dog Tedi and spending quality time with her two children.
